The GfB

Mission statement

As a non-profit company, we do not pursue our own economic interests. GfB is part of the municipal services of general interest and sees itself as a service provider with a dual mission:

The central tasks are therefore counselling, activation, qualification and placement of our clients: We help school students in their career choice orientation, school graduates in their search for apprenticeships, train apprentices ourselves and support young people during their vocational training. We introduce unemployed people to the labour market and place them in employment. Together with professionals, we develop further and/or alternative career perspectives. We advise and help migrants with the recognition of qualifications acquired abroad.

We support companies in finding the right trainees or employees for them. Through further training and qualification, we put your existing staff in a position to successfully meet the increasing demands of the labour market.

The successful implementation of these tasks requires an efficient quality policy. We want to meet the requirements of our public clients and companies to their complete satisfaction. At the same time, it is our aspiration to take into account the individual needs and qualifications of the people who come to us in order to provide them with the best possible support.

Therefore, the following principles guide our quality policy:

  1. We want satisfied customers and clients. We therefore take their needs and requirements into account in our work, as well as developments in the labour market.
  2. Within the framework of our diversity management, we take into account the different life situations, biographies and interests of all people - regardless of their nationality, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender or health.
  3. We ensure high quality in all our services. With the help of internal and external quality specifications, ongoing monitoring of all business processes that influence quality and the continuous revision and optimisation of these operational processes, we develop and ensure the high level of our services.
  4. As long-term customer satisfaction is an integral part of our quality policy, we measure ourselves by the success of our customers.
  5. Each and every employee makes a significant contribution to this. Our employees use all the resources at their disposal (material, internal, external) in the interest of our clients.
  6. The quality of our services results from the commitment and qualification of each and every employee. Training and further education of our staff is therefore an essential part of our quality policy.
  7. Quality must be lived and is to be seen as a joint task of the entire workforce. A respectful, collegial exchange and trusting, open cooperation are the basic prerequisites for this.

On the basis of this quality policy, we develop goals, projects and programmes, ensure their constant updating and further development and thus bring about the continuous improvement of our labour market services.
